Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum are terms used when multiple cannabinoids (CBD, CBDA, THC, THCA, CBG, etc.) are present in a product. Full spectrum implies a product contains THC while broad spectrum implies it doesn’t. The terms “full spectrum” and “broad spectrum” have yet to be defined or quantified medically or scientifically. This means you could have two different CBD products called broad spectrum, or full spectrum, and they might have different cannabinoids and in different amounts. Many CBD companies have turned Full Spectrum CBD and Broad Spectrum CBD into marketing terms simply to generate sales.
